Both, though the session design differs. Restructured hospitals (SGH, NUH, TTSH, and the cluster organisations) typically have more formal AI governance structures and larger teams — we'd design for departmental cohorts with alignment to existing institutional policy. Private clinics and specialist groups often have more flexibility but less formal governance — we'd combine the practical training with light guidance on what policies to put in place. The core content is the same; the framing and governance conversation adapts to your context. We've found that institutional complexity affects roll-out planning more than the actual training content.
We've trained both. For nursing staff, the focus is typically on administrative communication — handover documentation structure, patient education material drafts, complaint handling correspondence. For management and clinical coordinators, the focus shifts to reporting, policy synthesis, and departmental communication. We recommend separating cohorts by role so the scenarios and workflows stay relevant throughout the session — a mixed group of ward nurses and department managers often leads to content that doesn't land well for either.
